Hair care is an important part of life for hairy, social animals such as humans. The hair and face tell more about a person than can be gathered in any other way. Personality and overall health can be shown through hair styles and the way a person keeps up their hair. It is important for getting a job, interacting with people and attracting a mate.

All these factors make hair care something of an obsession for some people. Take Marsha Brady for example, even though she is a fictional character it is a correct stereotype, she would brush her hair counting every brush stroke until she reached some high number and then repeat on the other side. People are still obsessed with hair and new styles making it one of the most stable industries on the planet.

Hair care products can be found at grocery stores, convenience stores, beauty supply shops, barber shops, and even many gas stations although their selection may be low. Many contain chemicals that may not be good for people or the environment although there are many brands that pride themselves with only using natural organic products.
